WASHINGTON, September 28, 2011 — Beer is a social beverage. Drinking a beer can be quite pleasurable, but enjoying it in a convivial atmosphere with like-minded friends and strangers alike can create fun times and great memories.
To that end, on the 12th and 27th of every month, After Hours publishes a semi-monthly calendar of notable beer events covering the Mid-Atlantic region from New Jersey through Virginia.
This installment continues the overwhelmingly strong calendar of beer events that breweries, pubs, and restaurants across the mid-Atlantic region have been scheduling since August. From 11 days of Baltimore Beer Week to small tasting events to decadent dinner pairing events, there is bound to be something for every beer palate as October 2011 gets underway.
Do you know of a special beer event that should be listed here? Be sure to drop a note to the columnist, Bryan Kolesar, and provide all of the important details.
