London 2012 Summer Olympic Games
In ancient Greece, human beings performed acts of speed and strength, grace and endurance in games intended as an offering to their Gods and Goddesses, allowing them to marvel at the abilities they gave to us. This is what the Olympics truly means, a celebration of humans defying earthly gravity. As we watch the youth of the world, athletes from all nations who gather for these Olympic Games, we admire their hard work and personal sacrifice, symbols of dedication, focus and heart for us all.
